Q: Is there a cost to become a member?
A: Subscribing to IRB is absolutely free.
There are no monthly or yearly fees, you only pay for the services
you request.
Q: What are the costs for your services?
A: Most service fees are $10.00 to $20.00
with additional county, state or federal disbursments for some searches.

Q: How much are the state and county fees?
A: Most fees are in the $3 to $15 range with some being higher. Please see our Library Page for additional information on fees.
Q: Do I have to pay if there is no record found?
A: Orders are billed for the service provided, not the results. Many times a no record can prove to be valuable information.
Q: Can IRB obtain a nationwide criminal history report (NCIC)?
A: No. Criminal history searches must be ordered at the state or county level. Not all states allow access to criminal information, however, all counties are available. An NCIC is for law enforcement use only.
Q: Does IRB provide bank account information?
A: No. UCC and Asset searches are available.
Q: Can you provide an employment history?
A: No. We provide employment verification checks if given an employee's name and employer.
Q: Does IRB provide information on minors?
A: Public records contain limited information on minors. Criminal histories where the minor has been adjudicated as an adult are available. If a minor has a valid driver's license, that would also be available.
Q: Can I pull a credit report if I have a signed release?
A: Yes. You must have an account with IRB and have a credit user agreement on file. A report can only be used for employment or tenant purposes.
Q: Can I have my name purged from your database?
A: We do not maintain databases on individuals. We gather information from many public record sources. These sources include government agencies that maintain public records in accordance with the state statutes.
